Feiyue Yang
I am a first-year PhD student in Systems Biology with interests in the bioinformatics and computational aspects of RNA biology. My previous rotations included studies on m6A modifications and the annotation of long non-coding RNAs. Currently, in the Steckelberg Lab, I am excited to expand my research beyond transcriptional data analysis to explore structural aspects of RNA. My project involves identifying potential novel exoribonuclease-resistant RNAs by employing covariance model and RNA degradome data. Outside the lab, I enjoy soccer, movies, and photography.
